Design Process Journal is similar to semester 1 Idea Journal where both are a continuous work that will lead to each different assignment. I learnt that design process is very important to look at when doing an assignment or even a simple idea sketch. With a design process, ideas generate and benefits the final outcome and better result. I realised that without design process the outcome would be outrageous and nothing special on the background story. Thus, this DPJ helped me throughout the semester to find out more on Chewbacca and also have an arranged ideation and process in the final assignment. In the future, sketches and ideas should be recorded as the design process to enhance the idea of the model or project.
The design process journal is a continuous assignment that contains 3 different booklets all related to the final project. It is an approach of understanding the given character and also produce better ideation with a process and research. This enhances the final idea and therefore the assignment itself. As for the first DPJ, it is to understand the character. DPJ 02 is to find two keywords that defines the character with artworks involved. The last DPJ which is DPJ 03 is based on a pin-up presentation that was done during one of the tutorials.
